Our new seamless parking upgrade promises a ticketless and barrierless experience so you can efficiently enter and exit hassle-free without any delays or concerns about lost tickets.

How Does Parkin Work?
1. Drive into the mall parking
2. Once you drive into the parking, you’ll get free 4 hours parking
3. Fees only apply if you stay beyond the allotted free time (4 hours onwards)
4. You'll receive an SMS with a payment link to pay for the parking
5. Fees need to be paid within 3 days to avoid any parking fines
6. Spend AED 150+ and get free parking for the whole day*

7. VOX Cinemas or Ski Dubai visitors can enjoy two free extra hours*

Parking fees:
0 – 4 hours: Free 
4 – 5 hours: AED 20 
5 – 6 hours: AED 40 
6 – 7 hours: AED 60 
7 – 8 hours: AED 100 
8 hours+: AED 150 
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): Free

Overnight parking is prohibited - AED 200 /day.

Passing via Mall of the Emirates parking is subject to a charge of AED 3.

Applicable parking fees will be sent via SMS, payment can be done through the link sent in the SMS or through Parkin App.

General Questions


1. How does the ticketless and barrierless parking system work? Just drive in and drive out. If you stay longer, you will be contacted via SMS with options to pay through your phone.

2. Do I need to register or sign up to use the service? No. If your car is already registered in the UAE, you can use the service and enter and park without barriers or tickets.

3. How will I know that my vehicle is registered or recognized by the system? You will be contacted through the phone number that is connected to your car’s registration.

4. Do I need to download a mobile app to use this parking service? No, you have options. You can pay through a debit card, credit card, apple pay or through Parkin app.

5. Can I use this service if I’m driving a rental or borrowed car? Yes. The parking fines will be charged through the rental company. If you overstay, you can validate with payment at our customer service desk.

6. What if my car’s license plate isn’t recognized upon entry or exit? Accuracy rate is 99.99. In the unlikely scenario, you won’t be charged.

7. Why are you adding this service? This new seamless experience removes delays and ensures no one holds up the queue to make a payment or deal with a lost ticket. It aims to improve our total parking experience.



Entry and Exit


8. How do I enter the parking area without a ticket? Just drive into our parking and drive out. Our high-speed cameras will capture your license plate and use that information to contact you if needed.

9. How does the system know when I enter and exit the parking area? We have high speed cameras that read your license plate.

10. Is there a physical gate or barrier I need to pass through? No. This seamless experience is completely contactless coming in and out.

11. What should I do if the system doesn’t detect my car upon entry or exit? The system is tested and very reliable, should you have issues, you can contact us on this number 800-PARK (7275)

12. How will I be notified when my parking session begins and ends? You will receive an SMS on the number that is registered to your license plate.



Payment and Billing


13. How can I stay for free?  You can park for 4 hours for free, as per our current policy.

 

14. How can I have the parking fees waived? Yes. If you’ve made purchases, you can extend your parking for the day by validating at:

1. Mall Customer Service Desk: Share a receipt to get free parking for the day.

2. VOX Customer Service: Show a ticket from the cinema and have the parking waived.

3. Parking Management Office: Speak to the parking officials and they can also validate your parking based on mall purchases.

4. Valet Parking: If you’ve used the service your parking will be automatically validated.

 

15. How can I Pay? From a link in the SMS, you can pay by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or through Parkin app.

16. How are parking fees calculated in this system? The fees are the same as before. Fees are as follows:

 

0 – 4 hours: Free
4 – 5 hours: AED 20
5 – 6 hours: AED 40
6 – 7 hours: AED 60
7 – 8 hours: AED 100
8 hours+: AED 150
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): Free

Overnight parking is prohibited - AED 200 /day.

 

17. What are the payment options available for this service? You can pay by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or through Parkin app.

18. Do I need to pre-load a balance or provide payment details in advance? No. You can do this through the Parkin app and add a card to the wallet. However, you can also pay per visit.

19. How can I view my parking charges or get a receipt? If you download the app linked in the payment SMS, you can see the receipts for the last 30 days of transactions.

20. What happens if you don’t pay? Within 2 days of leaving, you will get an SMS reminder. On day 3, you’ll get a reminder phone-call to pay. If you still haven’t paid after the 3rd day, you will be charged the standard parking violation in Dubai, 150 AED.

21. Why is the fine AED 150? The parking fine is the standard parking fine for any UAE parking overstay.

22. Are there any additional fees for using the ticketless service? Yes, parking in public car park spaces designated for persons with disabilities without a permit or after expiry of the permit; or failing to display such permit in a prominent place at the time will result in a fine of AED 1,000.

23. What if I want to dispute a charge on my parking bill? You can contact the customer service line at: 800-PARK (7275).



Privacy and Security


24. Is my license plate information and vehicle data secure? Yes.

25. Will my personal information be shared with any third parties? No.

26. How long is my vehicle’s data stored in the system? As long as your car is registered with the government. Transactions are only held for 3 years archiving and duration might be reduced at any time.

27. What should I do if I experience issues with the service? Visit our mall customer service desk or contact us through this number: 800-PARK (7275).

Special Circumstances


29. Is the ticketless system compatible with electric or hybrid vehicles? Yes.

30. How do I handle parking if I have multiple vehicles? As long as the car is registered with the government, it will be recognized.

31. I am a Share VIP member, what happens to me? There is no change. You will continue to have access to the VIP share parking and not be charged for any visit.

32. I am a member of the MOE lounges (Cle D’Or / The 9), what happens to me? There is no change. You will continue to have access to the parking and not be charged for any visit.

33. If pay for the valet service, will I be charged? No, if you’ve used the valet service, you won’t be charged for any overstay – your car will be automatically validated.

34. I am a person of determination; will I be charged? No. As a person of determination you can have your fee waived at the customer service desk.

35. I work in Mall of the Emirates, will I now be charged? No. If your license is already provided to the management team, your car will not be charged.

36. Are there dedicated spaces or priority parking for this service? No, you have access to the same spaces that were previously available to you.

37. Can I use the service if I am a visitor or don’t have a resident account? Yes, if you’re driving a car registered with the government – the number registered will be contacted for pending payments. If you are driving a rental car, your parking fee will be charged through the rental company. You can also validate the parking with purchase at the customer service desk.
